spring-meltdown2008.jpgHundreds of people dressed up and came out to have a great time at the first Not So Pro® party of 2008, the Spring Meltdown. The Courthouse served as a perfect venue for this awesome night as everyone was actively socializing, drinking and dancing all night long to great music supplied by DJ Mike.

Other highlights from the night included an entertaining magician who dazzled with his tricks and an energetic bongo player who played along with the already pumping music. Conrad Leinemann, a Canadian beach volleyball athlete who is hoping to compete in Beijing this summer, also decided to make a guest appearance.  He was there representing the Canadian Athletes Now Fund (CAN Fund) which raises money in support of our Canadian athletes. He was busy running a successful silent auction with all proceeds going to CAN Fund. $5640 was raised through the auction; thanks to everyone who participated!

With accomplishing its goal of celebrating the arrival of the new spring session, the Spring Meltdown Party was a great success. Now that it is over, everyone can look forward to the next NSP party, the Summer Stoplight Pool Party. It will be held at the C-Lounge on June 13th and as always, promises to be a great time. See you there!
