The instructor for Clinics 2011/12 is Marc Arseneau, who brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience.
- 2 years indoor National Team
- 2 time CIS first team All-Canadian
- Played professionally for 1 year in Paris for "Paris Volley"
- 4 time OUA All-Star
- Level 1 certified volleyball coach
- Teacher/Coach Monsignor De Charbonnel High School (2007 OFSSA qualifier)
- 1 year assistant coach for University of Toronto Men's Volleyball team.

Sample Overview
Clinics offer lots of skill improvement drills and tips, as well as
lots of playing time. You will not only become a better volleyball
player, but you'll also get into better shape. Below is a sample of the course content. Advanced level clinics build on the foundation established by the intermediate level clinic.
Week 1
Basic Rules, Footwork, Intro to Ball Control
- Basic rules and required skills
- Introduction to court positioning
- Introduction to underhanded pass and service reception
- Introduction to overhead setting
- These
skills will be achieved through many basic drills, with lots of
repetition along with detailed instruction from the coaches
Week 2
Introduction to Hitting & Tipping, Serving
- Introduction to approach and swinging (spiking)
- Introduction to serving
- Review of ball control and drills aimed at game type situations where several players are involved
- Review of offensive skills in game type situations
- Progressions from isolated drills.
Week 3
Introduction to Defense, Review Hitting & Serving, Court Positioning
- Introduction to defensive positioning and strategy
- Review body and court positioning
- More advanced hitting and serving drills
- Drills and scrimmaging based on game situations
Week 4
Blocking, Team Play, Overall Review
- Introduction to blocking
- Introduction to team play and strategy in game situations.
- Final review and supervised game play where play is assessed and corrected.
